TGPSC Dy.EO Recruitment 2026 Notification Released: 24 Vacancies, Eligibility, Age Limit, Fee and Exam Details

The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has officially released the Deputy Educational Officer (Dy.EO) / Gazetted Head Master Grade-I Recruitment Notification 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official TGPSC portal. Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a salary in the pay scale of ₹58,850 to ₹1,37,050 per month.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with subjects eligible for admission into B.Ed.
  • A Postgraduate Degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.

For SC, ST, BC and Persons with Disabilities candidates, the minimum required marks in Post Graduation are 50%.

Age Limit

Age will be calculated as on 01 July 2026.

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 44 Years

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST/BC/EWS: 5 Years
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 Years
  • Telangana Government Employees: Up to 5 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years plus service period
  • NCC Instructors: 3 Years plus service period

  • SC, ST and PwD Candidates: ₹500

Examination Fee

  • ₹120 for eligible candidates.
  • Unemployed applicants are exempted from paying the examination fee.
  • Government employees must pay the examination fee.

The selection process consists of a Written Examination (Objective Type).

Paper-I: General Studies and General Abilities

  • Duration: 150 Minutes

Paper-II

Part-A: Basic Foundations of Education

  • Questions: 75
  • Marks: 150

Part-B: Educational Leadership, Administration and Management

  • Questions: 75

The examination will be conducted in both English and Telugu languages.

Qualifying Marks

  • OC, EWS and Sports Category: 40%
  • BC Category: 35%
  • SC, ST and PwD Category: 30%
